Name another thing that you buy that depreciates by more than 20% (in many cases), just by the act of ownership.
Did you (understood you, not just you CoMo=)ever stop to think that if it depreciates by $5000 just by "leaving the lot", isn't it maybe more likely that it was never worth the money, and that driving out into the real world just set the true market value for your car?
