But I've told this story before. When I was 4 I was listening to ELP and The Moody Blues -- tapes my mother had from her record club that she didn't want. Passed on to me. Listened to the Beatles and McCartney after that.
In 76 I joined Columbia House and among my first purchases were the first Boston album, Frampton Comes Alive and Monty Python Live at City Center. By 79 I was buying The Who and Pink Floyd.
I've always had a wide range of tastes. I STILL listen to the Carpenters -- sometimes right after playing a Led Zep CD.
