His job?
Sit in a booth, with a list. On the list is the number of minivan parts that are to be painted a certain color. Example: The plan for his shift is to have say, 1000 hoods painted in a 10 hour shift. 15 blue, 15 red, 30 white, etc.
His booth consists of a chair and the control box. And him and the list, of course.
His pay for this job?
THIRTY ONE DOLLARS AN HOUR.
For those keeping score at home, that is $65,000 to sit in a room, and push a button to have a robot paint minivan parts.
And that's not counting overtime...
