I'm not even saying to not cut away at any time. There's absolutely no reason to stay on the air for that length of time going over the same satellite weather maps over and over again. I'm not familiar with the news station Bob Dole is referring to but the local cbs affiliate interrupted the game twice without the courtesy of a split screen. I noticed that ABC kept running Americas funniest home videos uninterrupted while this alleged weather crises was occuring. They pull this shit because they are self important douchebags who don't care what they have to interrupt in order to have an audition tape ready so they can move on to a bigger media market.
