How can anyone just disregard the possibility of picking up one of the 3 most talented WRs of all time (and possibly the
best deep threat of all time) for nothing in a season where we're a downfield threat away from being legitimately dangerous?
It just blows my mind how risk-averse some people are or how pollyannaish they can be.
Shaun Smith's rep in the league was every bit as bad, if not worse, than Moss's and he's been a God-sent for us. Smith was seen as an absolute cancer, a QB punching dicksock. He stuff's the run for us a few times and now "he's our lunatic ball-grabber..."
Winning cures all. Bring Moss in and we can legitimately start considering post-season possibilities.
Or we can just keep sending Terrance Copper out there with Chris Chambers.
