SD is gonna be making a push. The team has exceeded everyone's expectations, but it's impossible to not think playoffs now. Hell, even a playoff win. With our rushing game anything is possible. Could you imagine the hype if we won a first round game, and then had to play the Patriots. JIMP. Even though we'd probably get slaughtered, just the anticipation of a game of that magnitude would be more than any of could have ever asked for 3 months ago.

San Diego is going to be hard to beat if they win the games they should. We need Indy to beat them today. We have to hope Denver beats them in the last game of the year. We have to make sure we win against Tennessee to keep pace in head-to-head games (since they won in Houston) and hope we can also win in St Louis and today in Seattle (two games that the Chargers lost).
The biggest problem, I'm afraid, is going to be the division records. We're on course for a 3-3 record with wins (IMO) against Oakland and Denver at home and a loss to the Chargers in San Diego. SD, meanwhile, is looking at wins against KC and Oakland at home -- if they are able to win the games they should and they beat Denver in the final week we could be 10-6 and maybe even 11-5 and not get in.
