Because 1.) **** superstition.
2.) no one on this team apart from Wiegmann and Waters were involved in one of those home playoff losses to the Colts, so the mental impact is likely only to be felt by the fanbase.
3.) if you perceive there to be a monkey, then let's get it off the franchise's back.
