Money is money. It will still be there next year. Look at Sam Bradford - he had the worst junior season you could possibly imagine having and still went No. 1 overall. Short of getting his arm sawed off, Luck will likely still go No. 1 next year.

Luck's parents' money isn't his money. Furthermore, I highly doubt they're "we don't need $50 million" rich.
And as for getting a degree from Stanford - so? He can get that in the offseason. Spare me the degree crap, that has nothing to do with his ability to declare for the draft. (P.S. I know a guy with a PhD from Stanford and he's a research chemist making $45K, so let's dial down the rhetoric a bit.
If he goes out there and plays well but not elite, he could very well fall back in the draft. A regression of any sort will be a warning flag to NFL teams. Disagree with it if you'd like, but it happens every time.
I just don't think this is wise at all.
