A lot of that came earlier in the year. The rookies have a full season under their belt and improved dramatically, not only on the scoreboard but in the stat sheet. I think CHFF had a blurb about the Patriots' opponents' QB rating, and how it was sky-high the first half of the season and much lower the second half of the season.
Besides, the Patriots' defense only sucks when they're facing a real quarterback. If they face Rapistberger in the AFCCG, I'm worried. If they face Rodgers and the Pack in the SB, I'm worried. The bottom-rated Sanchez, with a hurting O-line? Doesn't really inspire fear.
