Last week, had friends up, went wine tasting at three wineries, they bought me a bottle of Zin just to say thanks. Went olive oil tasting in Old Town and then made our way to a great Thai place where they brought out a beer tower with "Chang" beer. That was a good day. Today, while walking outside in shorts, I actually perspired a bit.
Alnorth's been predicting the end of California for quite sometime, reminds me of that blurb in "About Last Night":
"So, read much Western Civilization?"
"Not particularly."
"Its collapsing, or hadn't you noticed?"
"I live in a pretty good neighborhood."
