I'd expect to find Amelia Earhart hanging out in a skybox with Jimmy Hoffa before I'd expect this bunch to make the playoffs.
Right now if there's a worse manager or front office than ours, I couldn't tell you who it is. The combination of LaRussa/Mozeliak is like Herm/Carl on steroids. We're about to piss away the best player of our lifetime, and beyond him there are maybe three or four people on the roster worth a shit, and one of them is out for the year. The farm system is in shambles. And for the ownership group to allow things to get this bad and stay this bad, you've got to wonder if they have what it takes to right the ship, or if they even care.
This a bad, bad team. A last place team. An inexcusable embarrassment. I'd be shocked if we finish with a better record than the Pirates, let alone the Royals.
