I'm impressed with KC as well. Everyone seems to care; there are emergency blood drives going on, people are collecting items, S&R teams and tons of medical personnel are heading down if they haven't left already.
I bitch about the heartland a lot, but there is something to be said about our compassion and willingness to lend a hand when its needed.
