Drove out to Welcome NC and checked out the RCR racing museum. Very cool to see the great cars with the ticker tape still stuck to them. Bought some gear and had a very cool time. We left there and checked out Childress vineyards. Whole different crowd

We took the tour and the tour guide asked if anyone had heard of Richard Childress. No one seemed to know who he was as she went on to a short story about his racing days and how he is an owner.
She was standing two feet in front of me and I was wearing a Kevin Harvick Bud 29 hat. She did not have a clue it was one of the drivers from Richard Childress Racing. She most likely thought I liked Budweiser and the 29 was a new version Bud is selling

It is a very fancy place! They were offering a buffet for fathers day at the "special price of $17.95 a plate

We bought three bottles of wine after the wine tasting (I have been to a few of them now and have concluded no matter what winery I have been at wine sucks) I plan on returning in August to tour the RCR and KHI racing facilities~
