There's a reason baseball has 3840 regular-season games. It's called "highs and lows". No one wins 'em all. If you get all worked up about one regular-season baseball game, you'll die of high blood pressure by October.
The Royals are 16 games below .500 and tied for the 2nd-worst record in the American League. They won last night. Good for them, really. They could use the morale boost and so could their fanbase. But no one in K.C. is scheduling the victory parade today, and no one in the Red Sox front office is furiously trying to figure out who to fire. Shit happens.
