I don't think that time is now, and the schedule is precisely why.
When I look at the schedule, consider the lockout, and how prepared each team wl be in light of it, I
don't conclude that "this is our schedule." I conclude the exact opposite.
I'm not concerned with the talent of other teams. On paper, we are every bit as talented as nearly all of the teams we'll face this season.
The problem is, we're facing a ton of veteran teams whose leaders are experienced vets. Our talent is young, and still developing, and stalled by the lockout. Teams like the Chiefs are exactly the kinds of teams that will be regressing this year.
