The Ludwick trade was horrible. Regardless of what he's done since, his value as an asset was far beyond Jake Westbrook.
We once almost included Ludwick in the Holliday deal instead of Wallace. Think about that.
It's not always about what the player does after the trade, it's about what their value was and whether or not you maximized the value of that asset.
That's Mozeliak's problem. He's pretty good at drafting, but he is piss awful at trading.
