You're side-stepping the argument. And I would say that the idea that Sanchez was a better QB in 2009 or 2010 is debatable at best. But I can work with that. I'll concede that Sanchez is a slightly better QB, for the sake of discussion. Taking that as fact, please explain to me how that changes the outcome of anything from 2009? Does a slightly better quarterback turn a 4-12 team in 2009 into a playoff team? Does a slightly better quarterback turn that 30-7 Ravens rout last year into a Chiefs victory?
That's what I'm saying. You're the one stuck on the direct Cassel to Sanchez comparison.
But if you want to get into that, fine. I don't like Cassel. At all. I'd actually rather have Sanchez. I just don't think the difference would really be all that much right now. Sanchez isn't anything special at this point. Maybe he will be eventually.
