Those same people post here every damn day about this team. They live and breath the Chiefs like everyone else. To me it takes a TON of passion about your team to be willing to watch a horrible season for the future. Everyone came in hoping for good stuff this year, and to be willing to suffer through it shows no fair-weather characteristics IMO.
People can be on other side of the fence. To sit here and call either side fair-weather is just biased and short-sighted. The Chiefs aren't going to win the Superbowl this year. If you are about the here and now and want to root for them to win 6ish games, so be it. If you want the Chiefs to always be doing what it takes for a Superbowl and that trumps the short term joy then so be it.

boy you completely lost me there! not sure how you came up with that. I was responding to this comment.

I certainly think Cassel should be replaced. absolutely. I NEVER said anyone that feels that way is fairweather. how you read that I just can't say....maybe you sir are the ignorant one.... when Michingan lost to App St I didn't say **** off Blue I'm not rooting for you anymore. chiefs are not doing well this year. I'm gonna keep rooting for them. that's all I'm saying. if you can't hang with your team when they are losing then you're fair weather - meaning you only root for them if they are winning. you DO understand English right? for Gods sake man, learn to READ.
EDIT - ahh screw it....reading this again I guess I can see around the corner to how you'd take it that way....but that's certainly not what I meant to convey. if you are hoping for a bad season to get a franchise QB that is STILL rooting for the team. fair weather folks just give up. ever seen someone you know show up wearing a jersey of a winning team and you know damn well they weren't rooting for them last year? makes me sick.
