That said, the majority of the fans were families like everywhere else. The difference is the level of aholishness that permeates throughout the stands in about a 1/3 of each section. I walked around the stadium the last 3 innings and it wasn't much different anywhere...although certainly stronger in right field. Of course Rolen was ripping them a new one that game which had to sting their tender manginas.

I think they referenced Philadelphia fans on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The episode where Mac gets to take the shot at the Flyers game. One of them said something along the lines of, "Philadelphia fans are brutal, dude!"
