Preach.
I sat courtside (LOOK AT ME!) last season for the first time at a Grizzlies/Warriors game. I've been around and played with some really good players, but it is startling how big and fast these guys are up close. One of the things that really struck me is there is almost never a truly open shot from the perimeter. Guys are so long and close so fast, by the time the shooter lines up his shot, there's a hand on his wrist every time. I remember Dorrell Wright warming up, and he actually had a coach there tapping his shooting wrist on every single shot to get used to getting hit on his release. Didn't phase him, made nearly every one.
