They get no QB pressure in a league where QB pressure is key. They play the bend, don't break run defense, which is as effective as the prevent defense is against the pass. We should turn over at least 15 plays next year. IMO all these players should not be in a Chiefs uniform next year:
Matt Cassel
Anthony Becht
Amon Gordon
Kelly Gregg
Tyson Jackson
Thomas Jones
Ryan Lilja
Dexter McCluster
Jon McGraw
Jake O'Connell
Sabby Piscatelli
Barry Richardson
Casey Wiegmann
Demorrio Williams
I'm giving a benefit of the doubt to some of our younger players.

I agree with some of these guys on your list, as I'm sure the organization does as well. Piscatelli, Wiegman, and Lilja aren't pulling weight. McCluster is about as close to being a bust as one guy can get without officially being labeled. O'Connell and McGraw are pretty useless, and Jones is just well past his prime. I wouldn't call that blowing up the team though.
As you stated, the youth gets the benefit of the doubt. If they started cutting all of those guys, that would blow the team up and would be a horrible idea.
P.S. I don't hate Cassel as much as everyone around here seems to, but he's not getting the job done. There are a lot of drops and bad protection that aren't his fault, but I'm starting to understand what you guys are saying. I don't think he's the answer, and he's definitely vastly overpaid.
