Billay is exaggerating BIG TIME.

It was the Wisconsin game after the BS timeout.

We were down 1 point and were on the 45 yard line (or so, cant remember the exact yard line, but whats important was that we were within 10-15 yards of field goal range) and there was about 12 seconds left.

Stanzi threw to the back (that was wide open) about 3 steps from the sideline and the running back cut upfield instead of going out of bounds and us getting a field goal. You can watch the backs helmet the whole time and as soon as he catches the ball, he turns upfield.

That situation goes to coaching, preparedness and instincts of the back.

If the back immediately goes out of bounds, we are kicking a 52 yard (or so) field goal for the win against a top ten ranked team.

Whats even more ****ed about that scenario is that Stanzi wanted to spike the ball on the previous play to save their final timeout...which if we still had it, the back made the right move to cut upfield to help the kicker with a shorter field to kick...Ferentz and the back were at fault in that game that also included like 3 ****ed special teams plays that lost us the game as well.

To blame Stanzi in that situation is just dumb.
