I think it will be really close, though. There are going to be some voters that take away from RGIII's numbers because he faced 5 teams ranked 99th or worse defensively, and those voters are going to look at what Richardson did against 8 defenses ranked in the Top 50.

I agree. I'm trying to be hard on Trent b/c he's my favorite player in college football right now.
I do think that if one views the Heisman as something of an MVP award then Trent shouldn't get it. Alabama would maybe have wound up with the same 1-loss record if they didn't have Trent. Eddy Lacy and Jalston Fawler are perfectly fine college RBs. Add a healthy Dee Hart to the mix and Alabama's run game isn't going to miss a beat next year.
