You've got to believe that Marty would act in the best interest of the franchise. He would hire a solid staff, and at the very least get the players on the same page.
There is zero chance Pioli would ever make this move so its moot. Marty S is more like Haley. He wouldn't be afriad to tell Pioli and his "Patriot Way" to shove it.
I think Mangini would be a decent option, because he would at least be on the same page with the front office, which hopefully will filter down to the team.
Mangini isn't a bad coach.... He was put into some impossible situations (Favre and the Browns).
