With all this smoke around McDaniels (He seems to be to Pioli what Francoeur is to Moore) would anyone really be shocked if the plan was to transition McDaniels in (knowing that he's unsellable as a HC) by hiring Crennel for the short term, handing the offense over to McD, and then once Romeo is done, slide McD into the HC role?
