Cassel is a garbage QB that went from being on the verge of being cut in training camp to getting 60 million the following off-season. The common denominator is Scott Pioli, not the cheap owner.

As soon as anybody starts screaming the issue is Clark is cheap I immediately devalue anything else they have to say.
He is paying Pioli premium $$ to do his job. Haley was making something like $3MM a year. RAC is said ot be making over $1MM as DC and bet Weis was as well.
They gave Cassel $60MM for **** sake. They picked up Orton for $2MM with 6 games left in the season.
