The last few games have been promising. I don't know if he was regaining his speed the last few games or if Orton just gave him more space to run. I think it's the latter. If it's the latter, then holy shit, Jamaal Charles would be unstoppable behind a real QB.
Yesterday's playcalling was unbelievably frustrating. So reactionary. McCluster was getting yards, so we abused it and began predictably running him up the gut. When that stopped working, they completely went away from him. Then they went back to him predictably. With the way he was torching Denver, you would have expected some creativity.
The playcalling yesterday on offense was maybe the worst I've seen all year. Thank goodness we still somehow ended up with a win.
