First, get extra draft picks because even if you pick well, you'll miss on damn near 50% of them. Extra picks means you're not stuck with them if you do miss. It gives you the luxury to move on.
If you try FAs and they don't work out, dump 'em as soon as possible after they become problems (Adalius Thomas, Albert Haynesworth).
I'd be surprised if Pioli didn't learn this basic lesson. The only thing worse for your team than making a mistake is refusing to move on from it.

I hope Pioli does the same thing. I just don't see that happening.
