When I first bought my Xbox360 back in olden times, I rented this game where you used to fight HUGE monsters. You didn't really fight anything except HUGE bosses that you had to like climb up the fur on their legs or whatever to even hit or hurt them, does anyone remember this??

That sounds like the PS2/3 game Shadow of the Colossus. Fantastic game. You started in a temple after each boss and rode your horse to the next giant boss.
