TE Jake O’Connell has agreed to a one-year deal for the 2012 season. He would have been a restricted free agent in March. A 7th-round choice in the 2009 Draft, O’Connell will receive $700,000 in base salary, the minimum for a fourth-year player. In three seasons, O’Connell has played in 27 games with eight starts. He’s caught 12 passes for 90 yards.
