No, she's not. She just wants the ego boost of you begging. She's a woman. Women are different than normal people like you and me. She just wants to know that you're devastated. Your best revenge is to have her think that you moped for a day or two and now you're discovering a whole new world of fun out there and you're now thanking her for releasing you into it.

This will work better if you politely blow her off. Trust me on this. The best revenge is for her to realize that you're over her and that it's a real tossup about whether you'd rather go out with her or watch TV. And that it's a no-brainer to not waste perfectly good basketball tickets just to go buy her dinner.
