I did get in the middle of an old fashioned hillbilly feud though, damn, I had no idea it could be that uncivil. Funny thing is, one guy is a transplanted Iowain and the other is a died in the wool Nebraskan. They have both been there a lot of years, and just hate the hell out of each other. |
I've lived in Illinois about 19 years and can't find it in myself to care about U of I either. Some people I work with lament over the latest Illini basketball collapse and I'm all "yeah... but it's just U of I."
