I expressed a very similar sentiment just the other day and was roundly groin-slapped by practically everybody on this board for heresy.

Meanwhile, I suppose that, at this point, it's safe to assume that all these football executives know a hell of a lot more about Manning's muscle/nerve atrophy and regeneration than we mere fans do. I have yet to read a reputable source reporting that he has recovered full use of his throwing arm and can actually perform at a reasonably high level.
