But is Cleveland not probably the most dysfunctional organization in the league...not in Cincinnati?
Again, I know he's risky. But we're not going to be in as good a shape as a most other teams in this league at the most important position on the field. We
have to make some high risk/high reward moves in light of that if we hope to close the gap.
Hillis' track record prior to last year was superlative, he was universally regarded as a very good teammate. If you're going to take a risk, why not take it on a guy that has legit upside and not exactly a long, prolonged history of malfeasance.
If we only take sure things and pay retail for them, we're going to have a harder time getting over the hump with a mediocre or worse QB situation.
