We have no OL depth, and you're talking about ensuring that we have depth at safety so we have a better backup than what we have now. Would you rather have Sabby Piscatelli on the field or Richardson at RT? It's close, but I'd rather commit seppuku than see Richardson start at RT if Winston is hurt. OL depth > safety depth, for the Chiefs at least.
Neither are on the team anymore and we have nearly 20 mil to spend. We could sign veteran depth, draft impact players in the early rounds, and then draft these project types in the later rounds.
