Its dudes last chance probably, he has to say that shit...
And 100% where the blame will go on this too....not necessarily for pulling the trigger on cassel/vrabel as it was a decent try for just a scond rounder...but for sticking with it too long....should this season prove to be a failure.
BUT if this season proves to be a success then logically the credit will go to him as well, and he will look pretty smart.

I had the assumption at the time we got Cassel that he was a "quick fix" at the QB untill we get a few drafts in and start drafting QBs to replace him when the time comes. It's just dragging on now and Pioli is stuck on Cassel for having a 11&5 season with the pats and a 10-6 record with the Chiefs to make believe (fairy tail) that he has something with Cassel. Pioli made a colossal mistake at hireing Todd Haley & the embarassment that came from that with Tyler Palco. Pioli needs to recognize when it is time to move on and not let Clark Hunt make that decission for him like he did with making him fire Todd Haley.
If and when Cassel plays like shit the fans will let Pioli know our displessure and Clark Hunt will be forced to drop the ban hammer on him. That is the situation Pioli set himself up for.
