You said almost every country in the world. The woman will be wearing burqas in France now. You can scratch that one off your list, the muslims won that election.
The freedoms in Canada and Britain are very much due to their alliance with the U.S. and their similar beliefs.
And yes, you have the freedom to be who you are, for now, due to the sacrifices of the service people that have stood up for those rights.
I was just in the Hines VA hospital this week, and the sign in the entry says:
"The price of freedom is on display here."
