And quite frankly, I don't understand why we need to. Regardless of what branch anyone served, whether it was wartime, peacetime, or you lived, died or were injured, you're all equally important when it comes to protecting our freedom, and you've all made some degree of sacrifice in doing so.
That's my opinion anyway. I'm sure some will disagree.

I like that there is a distinction. A day for the fallen, memorial day is most sombering to me personally. Veterans day is a day of humble pride for my own accomplishments. Armed forces day is almost like a birthday celebration.
But there is nothing wrong with your opinion bug. Nothing at all.
