With hundreds of kids waiting to take her place the minute her performance starts to dip, there is no way in hell her parents are going to volunteer information that could lead to her being pulled from competition and potentially placed back into the workforce.
US athletes push themselves because they want to win, Chinese athletes are pushed to win because losing has serious consequences.
