This place...some people choose to be optimistic and look at postive things that can be taken from the game and have a bright outlook for the players and season. These people are called homers in a negative connotation by people that are choosing to look at negatives from the game and harp on them relentlessly, and use their "more informed" stance to prop themselves above those they deem as dumb "homers." The irony is that it is two sides of the same coin.
