When they hired Herm, I started missing more games and didn't care as much when I wasn't near a TV on Sunday afternoon...

...then I started going down this path about 4-5 years ago. I started watching more CFB, and since I was out of town a lot, I missed a lot of Chiefs games.
In the past few years, I'll catch Chiefs games when I can... as far as financial support, my breaking point was last season. I had looked forward to that season for a couple of years and bought tickets to 5 games... after week 2, I sold the other 4 games and told myself I wouldn't pay to go to another game until
after they proved they were contenders. No more potential bullshit. I was tempted to buy some tickets this year from a couple of people who offered them at a discount, but simply couldn't do it.
And as far as the rest of the NFL, the weekly schedule simply doesn't appeal to me since I don't have Sunday Ticket. It's a quarterback league with a shortage of quarterbacks (even though that might be changing)... but, I still think the best of the NFL is pretty damn good, even though the bottom 2/3rds is mediocre at best and absolutely brutal at worst.
This week I could spend some or all of my Sunday watching the Bills/Chiefs, Cowboys/Seahawks, Titans/Chargers, and 49ers/Lions (1/4

)... or take my pick of ~50 college football games that will be on TV or espn3.
