I said this before and got tons of shit for it.
But from a personnel side, Herm made a lot of very smart moves. Herm made the ballsy moves that set Pioli up to be a success in Kansas City. He brought in youth, ousted the veterans, and made the cap manageable. And no, none of those decisions were easy ones nor were they endorsed by our GM at the time.
The guy was a bad game day coach, but he got this team moving in the right direction.
