I think Manning has definitely raised the level of play of those around him, but I think it's silly to suggest that he and he alone is the sole reason that both Thomas and Decker are playing well.
Those WRs may not be elite at this point, but they're both very good and they have great potential. I don't care if either of them is a better 'skill' player or better WR than Bowe or anyone else... I do believe they're not generically average.
Those two guys have a lot of talent and they're finally playing with a QB that knows how to get it out of them. If you put Eli or Brady on the Chiefs, those WRs would certainly play much better. Would they be better than Denver's WRs? I dunno, and it doesn't really matter - these guys are producing and playing very well. That's really all that does matter.
I can't recall the stat, but I think the Broncos are tied or leading the league with 20+ yard pass plays... Thomas is up there on the list with Decker not far behind. There's some dink and dunk, but there's an awful lot of long passes going for big gains too.
