I love how noone wants to put any blame on the restaurant owners that are shafting their employees by not even paying a living wage.
The customers subsidize the difference.
Boo hoo, I was a server/bartender in college and for a short time afterwards and even though it burnt me to get a bad tip, I still never felt right blaming a customer for not giving me extra money that they didn't have to give.
Besides, the attitude of most servers these days is that they deserve a high tip all the time, simply for doing their job. Nope, sorry charlie.
