I would argue that Romeo has consistently performed better calling plays against Manning than Belichick has. Additionally, Crennel has done that with a porous Chiefs defense and with the Browns (
, seriously I think that might have been the last game Peyton didn't throw a TD). Crennel as a "consultant" (calling defensive plays or at least advising what they should call given down, distance and situation) is a great commodity to have.
