Getting a staff in here that can utilize the talent is beyond critical in the modern NFL. All these guys are big, strong and fast. NFL players, by virtue of the fact that they are here at all, are talented.
The head coach and his staff is tasked with getting the most of that talent by either teaching, motivating or utilizing players in ways that maximize that.
No, I disagree completely with you here. In the NFL, the head coach and the staff he is able to assemble is more important than the general manager. They're both critical, but I'd go 60-40 HC.
