But seriously... Champ Bailey, Surtain/Law, Revis, the Eagles all-star CB group... none of them won jack. Meanwhile the Giants, Packers, Niners, Steelers, Colts made a killing drafting and finding front 7 guys who can rush the passer. Most average fans couldn't name the starting CBs on most recent Super Bowl champs. You can't suck but they aren't that important. The Cowboys spent a ton of money on Brandon Carr... and they still didn't make the playoffs. The last time the CB was important was when the Patriots punched the Colts in the mouth 10 years ago.. then promptly changed the rules to neuter them.

maybe I am being irrational about DL but I simply can't fathom this franchise spending YET ANOTHER top 5 pick (#1) on a DL in a 3 ****ing 4.
Pioli spent 4 years drafting lineman with all of our top picks. We are literally set for 5 years at OL if Albert re-signs.
So that means we have needs at QB!!!!, WR, TE and DB. We could throw in a luxury pick at the Belcher spot but honestly...when you have 3 pro bowl LBs you are pretty much set there as well.
so if we draft an OL or DL at #1 I'm going to be pissed as a diehard fan of the Chiefs.
I can live with BPA at QB, WR or DB, though. If there is an Ed Reed out there to team with our Eric Berry sign me up. I WANT PLAYMAKERS. GUYS WHO MAKE PLAYS TO WIN GAMES.
I don't think I have ever seen a snap Tyson Jackson or Glenn Dorsey has played in the pros where I thought "oh my that is a play that might win us a game!"
I think I saw Dontari Poe make a really good tackle for a loss last year which was more than we got out of Glenn and Tyson for their entire career.
