They're pass rushers in a 4-3 under. Whether or not a guy rushes the passer is THE key point. There is no other point than that.

Aldon Smith and Terrell Suggs are NOT LINEMEN. They're 3-4 defensive ends. They're not 3 techniques or 5-techniques. They are pure pass rushers and that's all they do.
