Prayers for you and yours.
We went through the exact same thing at 18 months in 2011. Our (at the time) 3 year old son was with us when we found out, as it was the day we were going to find out if he had a little brother or sister (he had guessed right btw - was a brother). We didn't find out about Downs until after the fact, much less know that most don't make it through the pregnancy. I wish the experience gave me some words of wisdom to share, but all I can say is that the Lord will get you through.
