If they bring in Alex, I'm expecting atleast a Broncos 2012 season. Bringing him in is a win now move, so they better win now. 8-8 isn't winning now. A rookie could do that.
They also have to draft a QB at 34, no questions asked. I would much rather them get a guy at 1, but if they don't want to or dont' feel there is one that is good enough to go there, fine. But by saying that, you have to win now and win big.
If they bring in Smith and they wait for a guy at 34 and end up with the 5th best guy int he draft, it's a huge loss of resources.
